The Tree of Life Shtender, featuring the Seven Species of the Land of Israel, is a modest looking bookstand that contains all of the ritual objects needed over the course of the Jewish year. Created by artists Noah Greenberg and David Moss, it offers an opportunity to explore the daily, weekly and yearly Jewish time cycles, and their connections to the flora of the Land of Israel. This magic box engages children and adults alike and the program is especially fitting around Tu B’shvat or other holidays.
