As we look for bright spots in the darkness brought upon the Jewish people since October 7th and its aftermath, Kol Haot will be highlighting one contemporary story of heroism and miracles each night of Hanukkah. The historical and religious story of this holiday is one of bravery, hope, grave danger, a strong sense of self and – miracles. While defining an experience as a miracle is in the eyes of the beholder, we have chosen to showcase some voices that express their own sense of miracles and heroism, amidst so much darkness. We hope that this connection between our past struggle and our contemporary heroes will spark optimism and bring you light.
Each day of the holiday, check back here for another story followed by some questions you can reflect upon with yourself and those close to you.
